Yurchenko graduated from the Novgorod State Conservatory (Academy) named after M. I. Glinka as a soloist. During her training, Yurchenko performed roles such as Tatiana (Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin), Mimi (Puccini’s La Boheme), Iolanta (Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta), and Stéphano (Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet). She has taken part in the international ‘Soul of Japan’ festival inMoscow and in a master class with Professor Akiko Mibe.
In 2007 she worked at the Moscow State Children’s Musical Theatre under the direction of Gennady Chikhachev. Between 2008 and 2011 she was part of the choir and the chamber choir of the New Siberian Singers of the Novosibirsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, where she sang the part of Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen. Since 2011 Yurchenko has been part of the musicAeterna choir of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Her repertoire includes: Mercédès (Bizet`s Carmen), Laura (Tchaikovsky`s Iolanta), Tartarin (One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich by Alexander Tchaikovsky), Charmion (Massenet`s Cléopâtrе (Life of an Actress)), Sister Osmina (Puccini`s Suor Angelica), Vlasta (Weinberg`s The Passenger), and the soprano parts in Nikolaev’s ballet Gereven and Dusapin’s opera Medeamaterial.
She is also the winner of the international student vocal competition Bella voce inMoscow.
