BIOGRAPHY
In 2015 he graduated from the vocal department of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Professor Pyotr Skusnichenko).
In the Opera Theatre of the Moscow State Conservatory performed the roles of Schaunard and Marcello (Puccini’s La bohème), Tracollo (Pergolesi’s Livietta e Tracollo), Robert (Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta), the title role in Puccini's opera Gianni Schicchi. Within the framework of the theatrical project The Open Stage of the Culture Department of Moscow, he took part in the production of operas such as Cimarosa’s L'impresario in angustie (Don Perizonio, 2011) and Paisiello’s I filosofi immaginari (Giuliano, 2013). In 2013, he sang several parts in the concert version of Britten's opera Death in Venice in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory (conductor Gennady Rozhdestvensky).
In the same year, he made his first appearance at the Bolshoi Theatre: the baritone party in the performance Tune into the Opera. Since 2015, Konstantin Suchkov is the artist of the Youth Opera program of the Bolshoi Theatre, on the stage of which he performs the roles: Second Actor, Second Robber (Banevich's The History of Kai and Gerda) and Guest (Dargomyzhsky’s The Stone Guest). In February 2017 he sang the part of Lebedev in Weinberg's opera The Idiot. In 2015, on a tour in Japan, he performed a baritone part in Rachmaninov's poem The Bells (conducted by Rosen Gergov). Laureate of international vocal competitions such as Shtokolov Vocal Competition (1st prize, St. Petersburg, 2014), Galina Vishnevskaya Competition (Moscow, 2014, 2nd prize), and All-Russian Music Competition (Moscow, founder of the Government of the Russian Federation, 2014, 3rd Prize).
