The soloists of Perm ballet won the Canadian audience heart

On February 6 and 7 Alexander Taranov and Natalia de Froberville (Domracheva) performed in Montreal on a bright Stars of the Russian Ballet Gala. In Théâtre Outremont they performed neoclassical miniature Nocturne by Alexey Miroshnichenko (which was also part of last year’s program) and spectacular August Bournonville’s Pas de Deux from Flower Festival at Genzano. 

Along with Perm dancers, the artists of leading Russian ballet companies took part in the concert: Elena Andrienko (The Bolshoi Theatre), Alexandra Timofeeva and Mikhail Martynyuk (The Kremlin Ballet), Nathalia Ledovskaya (The Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theatre), Igor Kolb (The Mariinsky Theatre), Svetlana Bednenko and Mikhail Venshikov (The Mikhailovsky Theatre). The second year in a row the performances of the Russian dancers succeeds and delights the audience. The local critics say they are «Еxcellent!»

Stars of Russian Ballet Gala has been held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of The Russian Federation since 2014. The mission lies in demonstration of the best classical and neoclassical ballet repertoire performed by the leading Russian artists.
