Biography
In 2006 graduated from the Petrozavodsk State Conservatory named after А. К. Glazunov and was invited to join the troupe of the Musical Theatre of the Republic of Karelia (Petrozavodsk). Performed the following parts in the repertoire productions of the theatre: Violetta (Verdi’s La traviata), Micaëla (Bizet’s Carmen), Rita (Donizetti’s Rita), Galatea (Franz von Suppé’s The Beautiful Galatea), Gloria (Mark Samoylov’s What’s the Way to Kill the Old Woman based on John Patrick’s Everybody Loves Opal), Marya Antonovna (Victor Pleshak’s Incognito from Saint Petersburg).
In 2011 finished the Postgraduate Program at the Petrozavodsk State Conservatory under Valery Dvornikov, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Karelia. In the 2012/2013 season made her debut as a soloist of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre performing the part of Marfa (Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride) and songs by Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss at the chamber concert «Music for us». In January 2013 was invited by the director Andrejs Žagars to perform the part of Violetta in Verdi’s La traviata on the stage of the Latvian National Opera. Her repertoire also includes: Frasquita (Bizet’s Carmen), Louisa (Prokofi ev’s The Duenna (Betrothal in a Monastery), soprano part in Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeyev’s St Matthew Passion Oratorio.
Awards: prizewinner at the Vocal Competition of the Sobinov International Festival (Saratov, 2012), the International Vocal Competition «21th Century Art» (Kiev, 2003) and the All-Russian Student Vocal Contest (Ivanovo, 2000). Grand Prix winner at the All-Russian children creativity competition «Zhar Ptitsa» (Ivanovo, 1997). Two-time winner of the Highest Theatre Award of the Republic of Karelia «Onega Mask» for her performance as Rita (Gaetano Donizetti’s Rita) in 2007 and Galatea (Franz von Suppé’s The Beautiful Galatea) in 2008.
