Gina studied classical music at the Athenian Conservatory in Greece, supervised by the well-known Greek mezzo soprano Kiki Morfoniou, where she obtained a diploma in classical singing with distinction.
She continued her music studies at the Middlesex University in London and graduated with a BA with honors in performing arts (music, drama and dance) specializing in musical theater and jazz.
She has collaborated with several symphonic Orchestras and smaller ensembles performing at the National Opera of Greece, the Herodion, the theater of Epidaurus, the Music Hall of Athens, the Music Hall of Thessalonica, the Kennedy Centre in Washington as well as many other theatres and concert halls.
In May 2004 she sang the Special Olympic anthem during the opening ceremony of the Special Olympic Games. In 2006 she performed in the closing ceremony of the International Movie Festival in Thessalonica and in 2013 she had the leading role for the Revival of the first Olympic Games that took place in Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaron).
Since 2002 she has had the leading part in several productions of the National Greek Opera, the music hall of Athens (Megaron) and the Greek Festival. In May 2008 she founded a cultural center in Athens and the youth-choir 'Evmelia'.
In addition to her music studies Gina has also studied Greek philology (literature, poetry, linguistics) at the University of Athens where she graduated with a BA in Middle Age and Neohellenic Studies.
