Biography

Outstanding early music performer. Soloist of the Perm Opera Theatre. In 2000 she graduated from Nizhny Novgorod State Glinka Conservatoire (class of professor Georgy Muratov), department of choral conducting, and in 2007 — department of solo singing (class of associate professor Ludmila Rubinskaya). Between 2007 and 2008 took part in the joint German-Russian project «Historically Informed Performance» in Nizhny Novgorod. She performed the leading part in the world premiere of Scipolo or The Power of Music staged by Christoph Mayer to the music of Handel that was a part of this project.

Has participated in master classes with Gérard Lesne, Martin Gester, Peter van Heyghen, Ellen Hargis, Paul O`Dette and other musicians. In 2004 together with Michael Chance she sang a duet from Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in the concert for the opening of the Earlymusic Festival. Has collaborated with early music ensembles: Galliard, Universalia in Re, Ave Rosa, Altera Musica and the Orchestra of Catherine the Great. Took part in competitions of early music in Russia and other countries. Curates a number of music projects: in the spring of 2012 the Russian TV channel «Culture» launched her show dedicated to Sergei Diaghilev as a part of the programme «Romanticism of the romance». An initiator of a project «An Antology of Russian Romance», which was first presented in Perm in 2013/2014 season.

Critics praise the singer’s artistry that helps her play comic characters as well as lyric roles: in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte she performed the parts of Fiordiligi and Despina (Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, 2011). As a member of the international team of opera stars participated in the recording of Le nozze di Figaro conducted by Teodor Currentzis for Sony Classical (released in 2014). Grand Prix winner at the International Festival of Classical Music «Vienna Spring» (Ruza, Russia, 2008).
