Biography

Knyazeva is a soloist of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre. She graduated from the Perm State Institute (Academy) of Art and Culture (class of Docent Elena Oparina).

Her repertoire includes: Flora Bervoix (Verdi`s La traviata); Nedda (Leoncavallo`s Pagliacci); the Butterfly (Puccini`s Madame Butterfly); Micaëla (Bizet`s Carmen); Cendrillon (Massenet`s Cendrillon, or the Tale of Cinderella); Octavie (Massenet`s Cléopâtrе (Life of an Actress)); Rosa (Donizetti`s The Night Bell); Kseniya (Mussorgsky`s Boris Godunov); Yaroslavna (Borodin`s Prince Igor); Domna Saburova (Rimsky-Korsakov`s The Tsar’s Bride); Maria (Mazeppa), Agnès Sorel (The Maid of Orleans) and Larina (Eugene Onegin) — by Tchaikovsky; The Mine Supervisor’s Wife (Batin`s The Malachite Casket); The Enamoured (Journey to the Land of the Jumblies by Pospelov).

As part of the opera troupe she went on tour toSwitzerland, Germany (2004) and theUSA (2008,Carnegie Hall, New York).
