Biography
One of the leaders of modern theatre directing, working in ‘documentary theatre’.
In 2007 he graduated from the directing department of the St. Petersburg Theatre Arts Academy, Studio of People’s Artist of Russia, Professor Lev Dodin.

In 2013—2014 Aleksanderovskiy has worked with the Moscow Taganka Theatre: Presence (a spectacle on the spectacle The Good Person of Szechwan by Yuri Lyubimov) and Radio Taganka by Eugeny Kazachkov (according to the documents of the closing performance of Vladimir Vysotsky). In 2014, together with Durnenkov has staged a documentary spectacle about Campus in in Novosibirsk.
Since 2015 he is a founder and ideologist of the Pop Up Theatre in St. Petersburg: Fuel by Kazachkov (after David Yang’s interview), And suddenly opened her compassion by Maxim Dosko; Other Town (co-production with the Festival of Arts ‘Access Point’, 2016).
Staging performances: Resistance instruction (in the framework of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Central War Museum, Moscow, 2014), The First Step (for opening of a new stage of the Theatre of Nations, 2016).
The author of the installation Other museum for the exhibition House of Impressions at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts (2016).
He is a participant of such festivals as ‘Golden Mask in Warsaw’, ‘Territory’, NET, Festival of Theatres of the Small Towns of Russia, TEART (Minsk), Sirenos (Vilnius), HIGH FEST (Yerevan), Russische Theatre Frühling (Berlin).
Winner of the festivals in the category ‘The Best Director’: New Siberian Transit Festival, Texture Festival, and ‘Breakthrough (2012), and in the category ‘Innovation» (New Siberian Transit Festival, 2014, 2016). Several times was nominated for the ‘Golden Mask’ Award.
