Biography

Pfister is a soloist of the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow. She graduated from the vocal department of the Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music (class of Professor Margarita Shadrina). Her repertoire includes: Elisabetta (Donizetti`s Mary Stuart), Adalgisa (Bellini`s Norma), Stéphano (Gounod`s  Romeo and Juliet), Lola (Mascagni`s Cavalleria rusticana), Flora Bervoix (Verdi`s La traviata), The Cat and The Squirrel (Ravel`s L’enfant et les sortilèges), Scullion (Dvořák`s Rusalka), The Page (Salome by Strauss); Olga (Eugene Onegin), Polina (The Queen of Spades) — by Tchaikovsky; Konchakovna (Borodin`s Prince Igor), Naina, Ratmir (Glinka`s Ruslan and Lyudmila), Lel (Rimsky-Korsakov`s The Snow Maiden), the Stranger (Spadavecchia`s Letter from an Unknown Woman) and also the part of mezzo-soprano in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and Bach’s The Mass in B minor.

She has collaborated with conductors such as Felix Korobov, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Andrei Lebedev, Valery Kritskov, Fabio Mastrangelo and Jan Latham-Koenig.

Pfister won first prize at the international student vocal competition Bella voce inMoscowin 2006.
