Biography
Rapetskaya is a soloist of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre. Upon graduating from the Novgorod State Conservatory (Academy) named after M. I. Glinka (class of Professor Alexander Sakulin, Honoured Artist of Russia) she entered the Perm Opera Theatre’s trainee company and in 2009, ayear later, became one of the theatre’s soloists.
Rapetskaya’s repertoire includes: Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Agnès Sorel (The Maid of Orleans) and Brigitta (Iolanta) — by Tchaikovsky, Kseniya (Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov); Serafina (The Night Bell) and Rita (Rita, or The Beaten Husband) — by Donizetti; Nedda (Leoncavallo`s Pagliacci), Flora Bervoix (Verdi`s La traviata), Sister Genovieffa (Puccini`s Suor Angelica), Micaëla (Bizet`s Carmen), Octavie (Massenet`s Cléopâtrе (Life of an Actress)), Tanyusha (Batin`s The Malachite Casket), Smeraldina (Journey to the Land of the Jumblies by Pospelov).
